My boyfriend and I had a huge blowout fight. Recenlty he has been pushing me to call and be involved with his family. We are not married or engaged and we do not have children together. I already see them at least once a week or more for dinner or to play cards or for family gatherings, I see them more than I see my own family who lives in another state. He has been really pushy almost making me randomly call them or invite myself places with them. I told him I like his family and I have no problem hanging out with them but I was raised to wait until I was invited somewhere first and not to invite myself… it is awkward.I feel like they should be calline me and including me since they are already a family, not the other way around, me calling them. He is insisting that I have a relationship with his mother and call her and keep in touch as in just randomly call her. How cringe worthy is that. None of his family members just pick up the phone to call me and chat! And to top it all off he has only met my parents once and we dated for 2 years!! I was at a birthday party for his nephew yesterday and I brought up the fact jokingly to his borther in law that "Mike wants me to call his Mom everyday and be best friends with her". He blew up on me in front of his family and told me "to just keep on sounding stupid in front of people and bringing it up". He calls me out in a joking manner about silly things I've done all the time and I don't blow up like that! I was embarassed at how he had talked to me in front of his family and he very loudly announced to everyone that he wasn't doing anything with me that night and walked off and left. I sat there alone for a few mintues and then after the presents were opened I deceided to say my goodbyes to everyone and left. I waved to my boyfriend on the way out and told him that I would talk to him later. He called me and told me that I ruined the party and caused a scene and embarassed myself and that I should call his family and apologize for ruining the party!! I don't think I did anything wrong!! I just left because I didn't want to deal with his attitude any longer. The fight extened into him telling me I was backward and had no personality or friends and that he regretted dating my lame ass… Just a couple days ago we were talking about getting married and now he told me he couldn't stand me and that actually "I wasn't important enought to anyone to ruin any party". He went on to say that he would never bring me around his family again and that he would just tell them that I didn't like them. What the heck?? Am I in the wrong??

Im not really a fan of the cards or the steelers, it think the steelers can win but it would be a very close game either way, not a blowout like im hearing from cards or steelers fans. I think Steelers run a pats type 3-4, blitz with linebackers, play man with safeties and play zone with cb's. But with the way the cards have been playing in the playoffs will that one on one style defense work for the steelers against the cards receivers? (why bellicheck and tomlin love playing so much single coverage,no matter the receiver i will never understand) The ravens played a more just plug the gaps 4-3 , not really blitzing, just making sure no rusing yards are gained, allowing double coverage on receivers and setting up for alot of pass deflections or INT…….Ed reed. Yes steelers did beat the ravens, but that doesnt neccissarily mean they will blow out the cards or that ravens wouldnt beat the cards…….im not sure about tennesse, i know the tend to run a bears type covers 2 where you play a ton of zone blitzes but i havent seen too many of their games, im just hearing they prbly would have beat the steelers, im not so sure but maybe someone here can enlighten me. ….Who do u think would have been the best match-up…or leave it the way it is

How bad will the Steelers destroy the Cards?
I have a credit card with about $4,000. I've used the credit card for paying for school, stupidly believing that would be a better route than getting a student loan (yes, I know, stupid thinking). I got a car a year ago, and that has opened my eyes to all this stuff about loans and lines of credit, fixed interest versus adjustable interest (which is what I think a credit card uses). I've noticed that my car payments, every payment, the balance goes down the amount I pay. I've noticed with my damned credit cards, it turns out the payments I'm sending in is covering interest only and about $5+/- to the actual balance I actually owe. I pay $135/monthly, and about $130 seems to go towards interest approximately. I'm paying about 30% interest on this damned thing and realize now I'm in a mistake and want to get out of it. My big question is, I want to get rid of the credit card for good. I've heard canceling hurts/kills your fico score, but at this point I don't think I care. I'm paying hefty a hefty stupid tax, and haven't gotten anywhere in the past few years. Since I'm making car payments, that should help the fico score to some degree, but is it advisable to cancel the credit cards? I want to get rid of the thing, and not use them again. Maybe keep one for the emergency situation like car breakdown/tire blowout, but I'm planning to otherwise live on what I make, not what I can borrow. If I cancel the credit card, does that allow you to continue making monthly payments to get rid of the thing without incurring more interest monthly? Or will the credit company then demand $4000 upfront? I've never canceled a card before as these two being my own cards ever.
Please, no short/quick answers from people that haven't dealt with this before. I'm looking from people who have dealt with or been in this situation before, or has worked with credit companies. I'm looking for a way out of this trap, pay off what I owe without incurring more stupid tax and without getting a lawsuit if I cancel and they want it all up front. Thanks in advance!
