Ok se here's the deal, the image started to become a little garbled depending on the ANGLE of the LCD screen, so I usually played with the angle and the image came back .

That trick doesnt work anymore. I've posted some pics to show you. Note, by plugging in an external LCD (I'm actually using the laptop now) it works perfectly !!

Here are the pics . Any help would be appreciated! Thnx Yahoo should I go ahead and open up the laptop to find the LCD cable, and do you think it has anything to do with the inverter.

I picked up a laptop recently as a christmas gift for a family member, I got a great deal on it and it's a good machine hp dv4 2020ca, but it's white. I was hoping to get black as this is for a guy but this was a big sale item and there was only white available. Would white bother you? I am fairly concerned, he has never said he didn't like white I just figured black was a safer choice. Your opinion? Thanks.

I do not know anything about graphics cards, they seem to have enough memory but are the graphics good enough to play on a med level with a decent fps say around sixty??? I've been searching the Black Friday deals for laptops for Christmas gifts for my brothers, but all these machines have those rubbish integrated intel chipset graphics.

Has anyone run across a decent discounted laptop with a reasonable dedicated graphics card? (Toshiba, if possible – So full of hate for HP bloatware and inferior ASUS hardware).

They're both moderate gamers, and I do need to buy 2, so I'm trying to hold out for a good deal.

I have been looking online off and on for the past couple of days and this seems to be the only one thats near me and doesn't limit 5 per store like Best Buy, which would be an hours drive.

I am a Freshman at College and will need a laptop for online homework, watching videos on HULU and Youtube, using Windows 7 for English a lot, a long battery life, etc.

I want a DELL that I can customize and get online but I have no idea how to do that and if they will have any deals for someone like me.
